Job Summary
Lead the technical delivery of the IGCH platform by translating solution architecture into working designs for frontend, backend, APIs, and database components using React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. Guide the engineering team through secure coding, code reviews, and SAST integration while coordinating security readiness and VAPT remediation. Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripts, and AWS-managed environment configurations including Lambda, RDS, and Secrets Manager. Ensure application components are scalable, maintainable, and ready for production release. This fixed-term contract role involves close collaboration with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and QA teams to drive innovation in cloud-based digital platforms.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience leading a small engineering team
- Strong working knowledge of React.js
- Strong working knowledge of TypeScript
- Strong working knowledge of HTML5
- Strong working knowledge of CSS3
- Strong experience with Node.js
- Strong experience with Express.js or NestJS
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with relational database design
- Experience with SQL optimisation
- Experience with data integrity
- Experience with migration scripts
- Experience with non-relational database such as DynamoDB
- Experience with OpenSearch
- Experience designing and securing REST APIs
- Knowledge of OAuth2
