Job Summary
Front-end Software Engineer to build and enhance core product features using TypeScript with React or Angular. You will translate requirements into UI, integrate front-end with Python/FastAPI backend and Snowflake data sources, implement UI components, and write unit/integration tests. Collaborate with product managers and backend engineers to deliver robust, accessible web experiences. 2-5 years of frontend experience required; cloud (Azure) and Docker exposure is a plus; energy-sector experience is a nice-to-have. Contract length is 1 year with payroll or freelance option. Remote-friendly with multiple European locations listed.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional front-end development experience
- Strong command of TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with React or Angular
- Experience with API integration (REST) and consuming backend services
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright for E2E testing)
- Ability to translate product requirements into UI
- Collaborative team mindset
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and Docker is a plus
