Job Summary
Software Engineer - Front End at AIS focusing on designing, developing, and deploying business applications and automation solutions using SharePoint Online and Power Platform. You will build low-code/no-code solutions with Power Apps, automate workflows with Power Automate, model data in Dataverse, and create Power BI dashboards. Responsibilities include technical design, development, testing, bug fixes, documentation, end-user/training, agile collaboration, and delivering enterprise solutions utilizing JavaScript/React, Power Platform tools, and related data sources. The role emphasizes customer-focused solution delivery, monitoring and testing improvements, and contributing to project milestones within a mission-driven, employee-owned environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR 4+ years of equivalent experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Familiarity with basic scripting or expressions (e.g., JavaScript, or JSON)
- Active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Proficiency in working with data, including connecting to data sources, data modeling, and creating reports
- Strong understanding Microsoft’s 365 ecosystem, particularly SharePoint Online
- React and Node development experience
- A proactive approach to problem‐solving and risk identification
