Job Summary
Software Engineer - Front End role on a client-facing IT solutions team. Initial project focuses on designing, developing, and deploying business applications and automation using SharePoint Online (SPO) and Power Platform to transform manual processes into data-driven digital workflows. Key responsibilities include technical design, development, testing, implementation of enterprise-level solutions, building low-code/no-code Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate workflows, developing data models in Microsoft Dataverse, and creating Power BI reports/dashboards. Requires collaboration in agile teams, maintenance and user support for deployed applications, and user training to promote platform adoption. The candidate should bring a mix of traditional application development (JavaScript, JSON, React) and Power Platform experience, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions, data integration, and actionable insights. The base salary range is $81,000-$123,000 per year. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of Power Platform work, and an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret. Working onsite at the client site in Alexandria, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR 4+ years of equivalent experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Familiarity with basic scripting or expressions (e.g., JavaScript, or JSON)
- Proficiency in working with data, including connecting to data sources, data modeling, and creating reports
- Strong understanding Microsoft’s 365 ecosystem, particularly SharePoint Online
- React and Node development experience
