Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions using Python while collaborating with the Technical Lead and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements. Write clean, efficient, secure code following best engineering practices and participate in architecture discussions to contribute to technical decision-making. Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks, develop automation tools for internal applications, and work responsibly with AI-assisted development tools. Contribute to software testing, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while staying current with emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in backend software development
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Working knowledge of at least one additional programming language, such as C++, PHP, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Golang
- Ability to understand and work across different technology stacks
- Familiarity with AI prompt engineering for software development
- Solid understanding of secure software development principles, including secure coding practices and common application security risks
- Good understanding of software performance optimization, including profiling, caching, concurrency, efficient data structures, and resource optimization (CPU, memory, and I/O)
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Experience with automation pipelines and development workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent written and spoken English
Desired Qualifications

- Personal software projects, GitHub repositories, or open-source contributions that demonstrate technical curiosity and initiative
- Experience developing software within the online casino or iGaming industry
- Experience building automation tools, scripts, internal platforms, or workflow automation solutions
- Hands-on experience with AI development or AI-powered applications
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, databases, and dependency injection (IoC)
