Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain backend services primarily in Java for Nasdaq's technology platforms and client-facing systems. Collaborate with senior engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions across the full development lifecycle—from requirements understanding through implementation, testing, and deployment. Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and test environments, and contribute to deployment and runtime activities in cloud-based environments (e.g., containerized services, Kubernetes). The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, solutions-oriented thinking, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, global environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of software development experience
- Strong foundation in Java or similar object-oriented programming languages
- Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment
- Excellent working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international team
