Job Summary
Design qualification and testing environments to aid system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle by generating system test work products using appropriate standards and tools. Develop test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications for new products. Execute functional, environmental, operational, and performance tests on hardware, software, and systems while implementing cost-effective troubleshooting methods for all product development phases. This role supports the creation of an emulator for space vehicles used in ground-based Acceptance and Qualification testing at General Dynamics Mission Systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI within a reasonable amount of time
- U.S. Citizenship

- Familiarity with general test equipment: Power Supplies, Multimeters, Signal Generators, Signal/Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc
- Electrical schematic/board layout software such as Mentor, Cadence, Eagle or KiCad
- Mechanical CAD software such as CREO, SolidWorks, AutoCAD
- Microsoft tools suite
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with some Mechanical Engineering background or experience
