Job Summary
Build and maintain the AI pairing pipeline, automated ticket generation system, and developer tooling that reduce friction across the engineering lifecycle. Design technical guardrails and review workflows for the non-engineer contribution program while instrumenting tools to measure and improve their impact. Partner with engineers to identify high-leverage opportunities for Enablement investment and evaluate new AI developer tools for adoption. Work in a fast-moving, early-stage function shaping how every engineer at Capacity works, with a base salary between $150,000 and $180,000.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- strong fundamentals in backend systems
- strong fundamentals in APIs
- strong fundamentals in automation
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs
- experience with prompt engineering
- experience with tool use
- evaluation of AI-generated output
- Experience building internal developer tools
- Experience building automation pipelines
- Experience building platform infrastructure
- Strong communication skills
- ability to gather requirements from engineers
- ability to translate requirements into well-designed tooling solutions
Desired Qualifications
- experience with Go (Golang)
- experience with Python
- Familiarity with modern AI developer tools including Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and similar platforms
- Experience building integrations with project management and engineering tools such as Jira, GitHub, or Linear
