Job Summary
Design, develop, and optimize high-performance trading and infrastructure systems while collaborating with traders and infrastructure specialists to support quantitative strategies. Build robust, scalable software components for market data feeds, order execution, and risk management, ensuring reliability through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration. Monitor system performance, latency, and throughput in a fast-paced environment, investigating and resolving complex production issues swiftly. Maintain comprehensive documentation, participate in regular code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. Contribute to continuous innovation by researching new technologies to enhance the trading platform.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BE in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on software development experience
- Experience in Java
- Experience in Python
- Proven experience delivering and maintaining production-level systems
- Strong understanding of APIs
- Strong understanding of database design
- Strong understanding of system architecture
