Job Summary
Software Engineer in the Risk Experience team delivering backend-focused applications and APIs in C# to support onboarding decisions for merchants. Build and optimize risk/compliance decisioning with MongoDB and GCP, develop operational tooling, and collaborate with Risk and Underwriting stakeholders. Emphasis on clean, well-tested backend services and high-quality user interfaces. Office-first culture with 4+ days in the London, UK office; hybrid work supported.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience as a backend or full-stack engineer with C#
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Understanding of building and integrating with APIs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with risk/compliance-focused software is a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus
- Frontend familiarity (Angular) is a plus
- Experience working in agile environments
