Job Summary
Build and evolve automation powering Moderna's internal developer platform using Python, TypeScript, GitHub Actions, Pulumi, Docker, AWS, and JFrog. Collaborate with application engineering teams to migrate workloads onto standardized, secure platform capabilities while onboarding repositories and validating platform behavior. Design remote workspace infrastructure, reusable templates, container configurations, and base images that enable teams to become productive quickly. Improve platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks that reduce operational toil. Develop internal documentation, implementation examples, and paved road guidance to ensure consistent adoption of platform capabilities. Identify recurring developer challenges and continuously improve shared frameworks, reusable templates, and automation to enhance engineering productivity. Participate in operational support for owned platform services while automating repetitive activities and expanding AI-assisted software development by integrating MCP-style capabilities and supporting AI agents.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps or a related role
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
- Hands-on experience building and operating solutions in AWS
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, code review, version control, and system design
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing team priorities and contribute across a range of platform engineering responsibilities, including areas outside immediate prior experience
- Must be able to apply in English

Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with infrastructure as code tools
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms
- Experience with artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, GitHub Packages, or similar
- Experience with security scanning tools, dependency management, code scanning, or vulnerability remediation workflows
- Comfort partnering with multiple engineering teams and influencing adoption through strong technical execution
