Job Summary
DevOps/SRE engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient platforms on Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities include deploying containerized workloads with AKS, configuring and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Java/.NET/React apps) using GitLab, automating infrastructure with Terraform, managing Azure services (SQL MI, Front Door, Blob Storage, Key Vault, etc.), configuring traffic using NGINX/Apache, implementing Istio service mesh, leveraging Helm for Kubernetes deployments, and establishing observability with Datadog. Also responsible for secret and certificate management (CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault), credential lifecycle, incident management, root-cause analysis, and cross-team collaboration for platform improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in DevOps/SRE roles
- 3+ years of Azure experience in production environments
- Strong experience in DevOps / SRE / Cloud Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC)
- Experience with Datadog (monitoring & observability)
- Experience with Java/.NET/React applications
- Experience with web servers NGINX, Apache
- Experience with Kubernetes tools Helm Istio
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD
- Secrets management platforms CyberArk HashiCorp Vault
- Knowledge of Networking, DNS, routing, load balancing
- Identity and access management (IAM)
- Security practices in cloud environments
- Experience in Agile/DevOps environments
- Azure certifications (preferred)
