Job Summary
Develop, validate, and deploy Starlink infrastructure as a Software Engineer, DevOps. Responsibilities include inventing tools and processes to enable fast, accurate development and deployment systems; providing fast and comprehensive software validation across virtualized, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit test platforms; monitoring and data analysis to support CI and release; hands-on integration and troubleshooting across the Starlink stack; and creating/managing core infrastructure such as databases and software libraries. Requires a Bachelor's degree in CS or STEM and 1+ years of software development experience (or 3+ years in lieu of a degree); proficiency in Python, Go, or C++; experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, ArgoCD; strong debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing skills; excellent communication; ability to work extended hours. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: extended hours/weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM discipline and 1+ years of software development experience (professional and/or internship); or 3+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree
- Development experience in Python, Go, or C++
