Job Summary
Software Engineer DevOps at Dustin responsible for strengthening the security posture of cloud-native platforms and delivery pipelines, embedding security into the software lifecycle to enable fast and reliable software delivery. Collaborate with Web, Data, QA, and Engineering teams to build secure, scalable platforms supporting customer-facing digital services. Core activities include embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, securing AWS/Kubernetes/containerized workloads, and enabling proactive threat detection, incident response, monitoring, vulnerability management, and continuous security improvements. Requires experience with DevSecOps,Platform Engineering, or Security Engineering in cloud-native environments with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD; skills in Kubernetes security, AWS security services, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK), GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), scripting (Bash/Python), observability tooling, and AI-powered security tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree level of working and thinking.
- Experience with DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Security Engineering in cloud-native environments, including AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Technical skills in Kubernetes security, AWS security services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK), GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux, scripting (Bash/Python), observability tooling, and modern AI-powered development and security tools.
