Job Summary
Build and ship production-quality code for device identity and security infrastructure, managing cryptographic chains from secure boot through cloud enrollment. Write backend services, automation tooling, and test systems that support our HMND‐01 Alpha platform running in real industrial pilots. Pair directly with a senior engineer to own deliverables while collaborating daily with firmware, cloud, and operations teams across San Diego, London, Boston, and Vancouver. Leverage modern AI-assisted coding workflows to accelerate development on complex platform challenges.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language (Python, C/C++, TypeScript, or Rust)
- Proficiency in AI tools for research, iteration, feedback, development and test
- Comfort working in Linux environments
- Ability to work on-site at our San Diego office
