Job Summary
Software Engineer focused on data engineering within GCP and GenAI, responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying data pipelines and migration workstreams in a GCP environment. Role involves working with BigQuery, Dataproc, Data Catalog, and GenAI-assisted data transformation, leveraging Python and SQL to implement scalable migration patterns, batch/streaming data movement, schema mapping, and governance. Candidates should have hands-on experience with distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark), Airflow/Cloud Composer, and messaging systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub), and be capable of contributing to migration strategies from on-prem/legacy platforms to GCP, while adhering to security and compliance requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of: work experience, training, military experience, education.
