Job Summary
Develop and integrate cutting-edge computer vision algorithms for low-powered devices, designing tools to analyze performance, code quality, and test data visualization. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams in software engineering, computer vision, machine learning, and graphics to advance Specs wearable computing technology. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 3+ years of C++ development experience. Full-time role based in Vienna, Austria, with a "default together" schedule of 4+ days per week in the office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in a technical field such as computer science, mathematics or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in software development with modern C++
- Good understanding of linear algebra, geometry and optimization
- Basic working knowledge in geometric computer vision and/or machine learning
- Strong knowledge in C++
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and computer system architecture
- Ability to understand, debug and improve existing code
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for learning new things and helping colleagues improve
- Must be able to work in an office 4+ days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in one of the following areas: Computational Photography SLAM 3D reconstruction Depth estimation Object detection, classification, segmentation or tracking Scene understanding
- Experience with ML hardware acceleration and common ML frameworks
- Experience with performance profiling (memory, cache, CPU)
