Job Summary
CoStar Group is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to high-performance web applications used by thousands globally. The role requires 3+ years of production development experience with modern technologies (React, Vue, TypeScript, NodeJS, C#, .NET, OpenSearch, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL), cloud experience (AWS), and strong Agile/Scrum practices. Responsibilities include designing and developing web applications, driving CI/CD improvements, collaborating with engineers, mentoring juniors, and staying current with emerging technologies to strengthen the platform. The role is based in Arlington, VA, onsite Monday–Thursday with the option to work from home on Friday, and requires a Bachelor’s degree and a track record of delivering successful products. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit, in-person university or college
- 3+ years of production development experience in modern technologies, like React, Vue, TypeScript, NodeJS, C#, .Net, OpenSearch, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL
- Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Cloud Managed Services
- Experience in Agile/Scrum processes, and Continuous delivery practices
- Mentoring developers and code/architecture review
