Job Summary
Design and develop scalable, secure operating systems and capabilities that run NetApp data management applications in the cloud. Participate in all phases of the product development cycle, including design, test automation, debugging, and supporting resolution of impactful customer issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while converting vague requirements into clearly articulated ones. Operate independently with limited supervision to drive results and set priorities. Requires 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency in C/C++ and Python, and strong operational knowledge of AWS, GCP, or OCI.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development and cloud engineering
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++ or equivalent, and additionally, Python
- Strong hands-on operational knowledge in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or OCI)
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Collaboration skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision and operate and drive results independently
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in software development of distributed data management systems (E.g.: NetApp ONTAP or similar systems)
- Advanced certifications in AWS, GCP, or OCI
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with Cloud monitoring and logging tools
