Software Engineer

Job Summary
Bringing to life new software functionality based on product requirements; performing peer code reviews and automating development chores; participating in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, release, and retrospectives); broadening technical and soft skills through comprehensive training programs; experience with WebEx collaboration tools, browser-based media streaming, and encoding/decoding technologies is preferred. Strong TypeScript proficiency and a track record of applying AI responsibly to accelerate development are required, along with solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. The role supports Cisco WebEx’s global collaboration efforts and involves working in a team-driven environment with opportunities to learn and grow within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Software Engineering or another relevant natural sciences field or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in the TypeScript programming language
- Demonstrated ability to use AI responsibly to accelerate development
- Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
