Job Summary
Join Vercel's CDN Security team as a Software Engineer, where you'll secure customer websites by analyzing traffic patterns to identify malicious activity, build and operate a low latency Firewall, and advance web security. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience with denial of service attacks, be knowledgeable in web servers and protocols like HTTP and TCP, and have experience in Go or Lua. This position provides a competitive compensation package, including equity and flexible time off.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience handling denial of service attacks
- Knowledgeable and experienced with web servers and network protocols (e.g. HTTP, TCP)
- Experience working in Go or Lua

- Advanced Bot Detection & Observability capabilities
