Job Summary
Software Engineer to develop and own Python-based automated test software for a key product, managing the full lifecycle from design and implementation through execution and ongoing improvement. Integrates external hardware with Python (via drivers, APIs, or communication interfaces) to exercise both hardware and our product for verification and regression testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust automated test coverage that reduces manual effort and improves quality.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in software development or test automation, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Interest in or experience with integrating external hardware with software (e.g., USB, Serial, Ethernet, vendor SDKs/APIs)
- Solid understanding of software development best practices (version control, code review, debugging, documentation)
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively within a team
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 5 years of related work experience
