Job Summary
Design, develop, test, analyze, debug, and maintain software applications throughout the production life cycle to meet business requirements. Collaborate with product owners and scrum masters for estimation and planning in iterative environments while resolving obstacles across software and system competencies. Leverage C++ expertise to create low-level design documents, manage Linux multiprocessing and multithreading, and utilize build tools like Make and CMake. Ensure code quality through unit testing, static analysis, and debugging with gdb and valgrind. Automotive experience with on-board connectivity protocols and middleware is desired.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma or University degree
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in C, C++ (C++11,14/ STL) programming
- Exposure to Object Oriented Analysis and creating Low Level Design documents using UML
- Working experience in a Linux environment
- Proficiency in multiprocessing
- Proficiency in inter-process communications (e.g., socket programming, shared memory, message queues, and files)
- Expertise in multithreading and synchronization mechanisms (e.g., mutexes and semaphores)
- Exposure to Make, CMakeLists, and the Yocto build environment
- Ability to effectively utilize Make, CMakeLists, and the Yocto build environment in a professional setting
- Exposure to unit testing practices
- Exposure to static code analysis techniques
- Ability to ensure code quality and reliability
- Proficiency in debugging with tools such as gdb and valgrind
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive experience
- Experience in on-board connectivity platforms including Cellular, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth
- Exposure to protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, and TCP/UDP-IP
- Exposure to middleware such as SOMEIP, D-Bus and Common API
- Exposure to test tools such as CANoe, PeakCAN
- Exposure to Legato or Macchina Application Framework
