Job Summary
Design and implement new data reporting and analysis capabilities for the NetProfiler product family, working with product management and multiple engineering teams. Analyze complex performance issues by evaluating in-depth situational data to solve bottlenecks, while optimizing and extending existing solutions. Implement new designs and infrastructure to support real-time analytics that detect network operations and security anomalies. Learn customer workflows to deliver insightful data that answers user questions and provides the best possible experience over large data sets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, or Engineering
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience
- Linux environment experience
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and distributed systems
- Demonstrated experience with high-level programming languages such as C++ or Python
- Good understanding of database technologies such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, etc
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Prioritize work
- Ask clarifying questions
- Work effectively with guidance and feedback
- Networking domain knowledge with technologies such as TCP/UDP, SSL/TLS, SNMP, VoIP, NetFlow, SDN, VPN, tunnels, routing, switching, and NAT
- Experience with public cloud offerings such as AWS or Azure
- Hands-on experience using GenAI-powered developer tools like Cursor and Copilot as part of day-to-day software development
