Job Summary
Design and implement new data reporting and analysis capabilities for the NetProfiler and Flow Gateway product families. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to deliver solutions that analyze millions of network flows, detect security anomalies, and provide real-time insights for Fortune 500 customers. Solve complex performance issues through in-depth evaluation of data and optimize existing infrastructure. Work in a Linux environment using C++ or Python to extend solutions while learning customer workflows to ensure the best user experience over large datasets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, or Engineering
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience, preferably in a Linux environment
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and distributed systems
- Demonstrated experience with high-level programming languages such as C++ or Python
- Good understanding of database technologies such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, etc
- Good communication and organizational skills; able to prioritize work, ask clarifying questions, and work effectively with guidance and feedback
- Location: Cluj, Romania (Hybrid)
Desired Qualifications
- Networking domain knowledge with technologies such as: TCP/UDP, SSL/TLS, SNMP, VoIP, NetFlow, SDN, VPN, tunnels, routing, switching, and NAT
- Experience with public cloud offerings such as AWS or Azure
- Hands-on experience using GenAI-powered developer tools like Cursor and Copilot as part of day-to-day software development
