Job Summary
Develop new features and sustain existing functionality within NetApp's flagship storage operating system by engaging in product definition, design, implementation, debugging, and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and Systemic Test Engineering to understand customer use cases, deliver solutions, and handle engineering escalations. Participate in the full product development cycle while working on enhancements to existing products and contributing to new product development. Requires hands-on proficiency in C, C++, and Unix/Linux system programming, along with a minimum of two years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on proficiency in C, C++, and Unix/Linux system programming
- Familiarity with design and development of system software
- Strong understanding of OS internals
- Proficient in algorithms, data structures, and multi-threaded programming
- Sound software engineering practices
- Passion for quality
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
