Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs that power web and mobile applications using C#, Java, NodeJS, and TypeScript. Build and integrate cloud-native services on AWS, including DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway, while implementing secure coding practices and CI/CD pipelines. Decompose complex systems into manageable slices, conduct rigorous unit and integration testing, and optimize performance across full-stack interfaces. Take ownership of features from prototype to production deployment, ensuring system reliability through observability, logging, and anomaly detection. Collaborate with product managers and architects to deliver high-performance, secure solutions that streamline benefits administration for millions of users nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong design and coding skills, with experience in code reviews and SDLC processes
- Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge, Lambda, and API Gateway
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Must have proficiency in C# /Java, NodeJS, TypeScript, with knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, RESTful APIs, and web application development
- Familiarity with development tools like Jira, GitHub, and SonarQube
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with prompt engineering and generative AI is a plus
