Job Summary
Join the Blockchain Backend Infrastructure team to build and maintain Fireblocks’ blockchain management platform. Responsibilities include implementing modern backend applications in a microservices architecture, gaining deep understanding of blockchain protocols, integrating external protocol implementations with internal wallet infrastructure, and collaborating with developers to deliver scalable on-chain features. You will contribute to production reliability through on-call participation, incident response, and post-incident follow-ups.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience in modern languages (Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- 3+ years of hands-on blockchain development experience
- Experience working on high-scale distributed systems
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API design
- Knowledge of consensus mechanisms, cryptographic primitives, and distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
