Job Summary
Design and evolve backend services defining benefit plans, entitlements, and eligibility rules within a multi-tenant, cloud-native ecosystem. Translate intricate regulatory and business logic into robust, maintainable code using TypeScript, Node.js, and MongoDB. Build systems ensuring data integrity across concurrent transactions and distributed state while delivering new benefit configurations at speed. Write comprehensive tests encoding business rules and monitor production health via dashboards and alerts. Lead through deep code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring to raise engineering standards. Collaborate with Product, Design, and DevOps to turn requirements into working software, ensuring hundreds of thousands of employees receive seamless benefit experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Outstanding software engineering skills
- Proven experience developing production applications in Node.js or other similar languages
- Experience in developing medium/large-scale web applications and distributed systems
- Experience operating your services in a production environment
- A systematic approach to problem-solving
- Experience with unit, integration, functional, and e2e testing
- You can speak fluently Spanish and English
