Job Summary
Design and implement software solutions supporting dairy farmers and farm managers within the full development lifecycle. Contribute to the GEAdigital Hub's farm management system using Java, Spring, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL while collaborating with testers and product managers. Support customers and technicians on operational assistance and ensure delivered software is tested, optimized, and reliable. Work in a cross-functional team with occasional international travel, adhering to a hybrid model with mandatory Belfast office attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Regular attendance at our Belfast office is a mandatory requirement of the role
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional training
- Experience in web application development
- Knowledge of databases and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- A focus on quality, reproducibility, and delivering reliable solutions
- A team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- A willingness to occasionally travel internationally
- Good English communication skills—both written and spoken
