Job Summary
Backend Engineer for the Foundation Services Team developing highly scalable Java-based services and APIs to manage authentication, account management, and external partner integrations; integrate AI coding agents to accelerate development, participate in code reviews and design discussions, and collaborate across QA, Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Support, and Security to deliver reliable, scalable systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience with Java and backend development
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code)
- Experience with modern data, containerization, and observability (Vitess, Cassandra, Redis)
- Docker and container-based environments
- Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch
- HTTP principles and secure access best practices
- Comfortable working in a cross-platform environment (Mac + Linux)
- Strong desire to learn and grow into a senior technical contributor
