Job Summary
End-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of Barclays' Enterprise Security Master (ESM) system in Whippany, NJ. Design and build robust data pipelines to process and hydrate financial instrument data from multiple sources using a stack including Shell scripting, Perl, Java microservices, RESTful services, message queues, Linux, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL. Follow Agile methodologies, collaborate with product owners and business analysts, participate in code reviews, ensure secure coding practices, implement effective unit testing, and deploy/instrument infrastructure with OpenShift, Docker, and CI/CD tools (TeamCity, GitLab). Engage with external vendors to source and integrate data, perform data quality analysis, and work with Run-the-Bank teams to resolve production issues. Demonstrate leadership behaviors where applicable, and align with Barclays’ values and mindset.
