Job Summary
Software Engineer (AxiomSL AI) in London, hybrid work arrangement. Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions across new and existing applications and systems architecture; lead technical analysis of complex assignments including coding, testing, debugging, and delivering robust outcomes; drive security-conscious development practices and cross-platform compatibility; build reliable integrations between AI services, structured data sources, and enterprise platform components; mentor team members and champion best practices to foster continuous improvement; located in London with hybrid in-office schedule (at least 3 days in-office per week). Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, strong Python and SQL, experience with APIs and enterprise environments, and experience with AI/ML-enabled products. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and fintech/regulatory tech exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong software development experience, including Python, for building scalable backend services, integrations, and data-driven applications, with strong SQL skills for working with structured enterprise data
- Experience building and integrating APIs, services, or platform components within enterprise application environments, including data pipelines, transformation, and validation
- Experience working on AI/ML-enabled products or platform capabilities, including integrating or delivering AI-driven solutions in production or near-production environments
- Clear communicator with proven ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and client-facing teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments
