Software Engineer (AWS, .NET)

Job Summary
Design, develop, and support business-critical applications and cloud-based services using AWS and .NET. Perform assigned programming tasks for new development or maintenance, analyze user needs to determine technical requirements, and promote quality practices through unit testing and user acceptance testing support. Follow secure coding standards and OWASP best practices while maintaining accurate technical documentation. Act as a lead developer on assigned projects, interface with database administrators for server configuration, and perform CI/CD pipeline creation and deployment automation. Provide support resources for technical staff to address customer-reported issues efficiently. Standard business hours apply with hybrid work options in the Neenah/Appleton/Oshkosh area.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Experience developing and supporting .NET-based web applications and services
- Experience working in cloud-based environments
- Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- AWS services including: Elastic Beanstalk (Windows and Linux), CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/ECR with Fargate
- .NET application development and support
- Windows Server and IIS administration
- Linux server administration and troubleshooting
- SQL Server development and database design concepts
- CI/CD pipeline creation, maintenance, and deployment automation
- Object-oriented programming principles
- Source control and modern development practices
- Experience migrating applications from Windows-based hosting environments to Linux platforms
- Containerization and cloud-native application architectures
- Experience supporting highly available production environments
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Identity and Access Management solutions, including Okta (SSO/OIDC)
- Experience supporting highly available production environments
