Job Summary
Software Engineer (Automation) responsible for designing, delivering and deploying automation builds primarily using UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator. Collaborates with Business Analysts and the Automation team to deliver automation solutions, requiring a high degree of autonomy and strong analytic mindset. Responsibilities include developing, testing, and deploying automation solutions; scoping feasibility; writing application and database code; participating in design reviews; ensuring data quality; performing unit and integration testing; and contributing to standards, documentation, and iterative improvements within an agile environment. Skills emphasized include UiPath tooling, REST APIs, full-stack development in a Microsoft stack, JavaScript, CI/CD, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology (CS, MIS, Analytics)
- 6+ years IT experience
- 4+ years software implementations experience in financial services
- 3+ years full-stack development in a Microsoft stack
- 3+ years OO/procedural programming
- 3+ years experience with SFTP tools, standards, and processes
- 3+ years experience creating/consuming APIs
- 2+ years experience in an agile project delivery environment
- Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
- REST API creation/consumption
- OOP (Python/.NET/C# preferred)
- JavaScript/JQuery
- CI/CD experience
