Job Summary

Troubleshoot production issues, validate releases, and improve digital client-facing platforms by gathering details, reviewing logs, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure web and mobile experiences are reliable and accessible. Maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures while participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to support modern web development practices. Collaborate with product owners, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, monitor application behavior, and implement fixes that reduce recurring issues. This entry-level role on the IT Client Experience team focuses on building skills in JavaScript, cloud-native platforms, and observability within a hybrid Kansas City, Missouri office.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, finance, business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 0–3 years of professional software development, technical support, internship, co-op, or related technology experience
  • Foundational understanding of software engineering concepts, problem solving, debugging, and application support
  • Interest in learning modern web technologies, APIs, cloud platforms, production operations, and digital client experience systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly, ask good questions, document findings, and follow established processes
  • Willingness to support production systems and occasionally respond to urgent issues or release-related needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Exposure to front-end or full-stack development using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Svelte/SvelteKit, HTML, CSS, or related frameworks
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, authentication, content management systems, analytics tools, or SaaS platforms
  • Internship, co-op, academic, or early career experience supporting websites, mobile applications, digital platforms, or enterprise applications
  • Exposure to Agile or product-oriented delivery models, including work in cross-functional pods or scrum teams
  • Curiosity about digital client experiences, accessibility, observability, monitoring, reliability, and continuous improvement
