Job Summary
Software Architect/Engineer for the Kaldi Team to support the US Navy. The role involves software integration, testing, documentation, and mission engineering in RF ground systems for satellite communications. Candidate will work on Linux-based environments and apply prior knowledge to develop new operational concepts and architecture to enhance system capability. Required skills include Python, C, Java, Ansible, Terraform, Proxmox, virtualization, Docker, GIT, CI/CD, React, JavaScript, and Bash. US citizenship is required with active Top Secret/SCI access; position is contract-based and focused on engineering support and mission assurance for Navy systems.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience as Software Architect/Engineer, or 6 years with a college degree in CS, electrical engineering, aero engineering, astro engineering, physics, or general engineering studies
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI access
- US Citizenship
- Strong experience with software integration, test, and documentation
- Prior experience supporting RF ground systems engineering activities for satellite communications system
- Ability to apply knowledge to develop new operational concepts and architecture and improve efficiencies
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Strong organizing skills
- Experience scripting/coding with Python, C, Java
- Experience with Ansible
- Terraform
