Job Summary
Implement, test, and deploy radar signal processing and perception algorithms while creating and maintaining software for in-vehicle data logging and visualization. Manage DevOps tools for current and new projects, develop scripts for offline data analysis, and support global teams in rapid prototyping of in-vehicle systems. Own software libraries used by worldwide Aptiv teams and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop toolchains. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years of experience in parallel processing and C++. Must be legally able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally able to work in the U.S. without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer, now, or at any time in the future
- Bachelor's degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
- 3+ years of hands on experience in: parallel processing and multi-threading understanding, modifying, and debugging large existing codebases
- proficient in Windows and Linux C++ 11/14
- Developing DevOps tools
Desired Qualifications
- Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with ROS
- Familiar with Python
- Knowledge of automotive CAN and Ethernet communication protocols
- Experience profiling and optimizing code
- Experience with revision control and issue tracking on large collaborative projects (Git, Jira, Jenkins or similar)
