Job Summary
Lead role in shaping and delivering technology for ANZ Funds platforms, focusing on Discretionary Investment Management Services (DIMS) and advisory channels. You’ll influence how systems evolve, partner with engineers, architects and vendors to design scalable, robust solutions, mentor others, contribute to technical governance and documentation, and support production systems including after-hours as needed. You’ll embed strong engineering practices with emphasis on risk management, controls and quality standards in a regulated environment, while driving continuous improvement and contributing to team capability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong engineering foundation
- Experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) or .NET
- Experience building and supporting web or microservices-based applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD and source control (Git)
- Exposure to cloud platforms, containers or Kubernetes, scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python or similar)
- Experience with SQL or relational databases
- Understanding of infrastructure, networking or security concepts
- Frontend experience (React)
