Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain foundational Android platform components including networking, app architecture, performance, and shared libraries. Write code adhering to strict standards, deliver complex features, and cover implementations with tests to improve coverage. Participate in technical design discussions, advise product teams on engineering decisions, and mentor junior developers to maintain high engineering standards. Liaise with the release team for continuous delivery and timely bug resolution. Requires 3+ years of Android experience with Kotlin, Java, and RESTful APIs. Fluency in English and Agile methodology are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Android development
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Sound knowledge of Kotlin and Java programming languages
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience with SQL databases
- Excellent debugging skills
- Fluent in English, in speaking and writing
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with other mobile operating systems, like iOS
- Firebase tools such as remote config
- AB testing, Crashlytics, and user acquisition tools such as Appsflyer
- CRM tools such as Clevertap
