Job Summary
Android Software Engineer to join the team powering the T-Life app. Develop and maintain Android features using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks (Jetpack Compose) within established architectures. Design solutions integrating RESTful APIs and AI-powered endpoints, collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, QA, Backend, and AI teams, write maintainable and tested code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to documentation. Support CI/CD and release processes, monitor performance, and communicate improvements. Requires 2–4+ years of Android experience and a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering, with proficiency in Kotlin and Android development, plus experience delivering consumer-facing Android applications. Travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
- 2-4+ years of professional Android development experience
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Android development frameworks
- Experience contributing to a consumer-facing Android application available in Google Play Store
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend service integration
- Familiarity with Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and Android lifecycle
- Experience with CI/CD and release processes (Git, Gradle, Fastlane)
- Ability to write maintainable, testable, and scalable code
- Strong communication, customer service, analytics, and technical writing skills
