Job Summary
Design and ship scalable Android services from design through implementation, leveraging Kotlin, Java, and RxJava to build smooth, stable, and fun user experiences. Evaluate technical tradeoffs for UI and infrastructure, perform code reviews to guarantee quality, and utilize AI tools to streamline development while auditing output for architectural integrity, performance bottlenecks, and security risks. Work in an office four days per week as part of a team building products for hundreds of millions of users.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science
- 6+ years of post-Bachelor's software development experience
- Master's degree in a technical field
- 5+ year of post-grad software development experience
- PhD in a relevant technical field
- 2 years of post-grad software development experience
- Experience with Android application development
