Job Summary
Push the limits of mobile devices by building smooth, stable, and fun products from design through implementation and launch. Evaluate technical tradeoffs to work with design on optimal UI and infrastructure practices, while performing code reviews to guarantee quality. Utilize AI tools and high-velocity engineering workflows to design and ship scalable services, auditing generated output for architectural integrity, performance bottlenecks, and security risks. Expect to use Kotlin, Java, RxJava, and Dagger to uphold rigorous standards for code correctness and production-ready quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science
- 6+ years of post-Bachelor's software development experience
- Master's degree in a technical field
- 5+ year of post-grad software development experience
- PhD in a relevant technical field
- 2 years of post-grad software development experience
- Experience with Android application development
- Use Kotlin, Java, RxJava, Dagger, and other great tools to build smooth, stable, and fun products
- Support features from design through implementation and launch
- Proficiency in, or a strong aptitude for, leveraging AI tools to streamline development
- paired with the critical judgment to audit generated output for architectural integrity, performance bottlenecks, and security risks
- Adaptability in learning and applying evolving AI systems and tools to remain at the forefront of engineering trends and modern development practices
- Work in an office 4+ days per week
