Software Engineer (AI Enablement)

Software Engineer (AI Enablement) in London (Hybrid: 2 days in the office - Wed/Thu). Build and operate production-grade AI tools, agents, and workflows; enhance tools supporting the full product development lifecycle ( Ideation/discovery, design reviews, code generation/refactoring/review, documentation generation, test generation and quality validation, observability, log analysis, and incident support ); establish metrics for usage, velocity, and model performance; develop AI workflows such as logs/metrics analysis agents and automated PRs; collaborate to scale AI workflows, guardrails, and governance; drive adoption across teams while focusing on reliability, performance, and cost controls. Strong emphasis on hands-on experience with AI engineering patterns (prompting, tool-calling/functions, RAG, agent orchestration, evaluations), observability, data privacy, and security. Preferred experience includes building/orchestrating AI agents or multi-step workflows in production and integrating AI into the product development lifecycle. Role reports to Engineering Manager – AI Enablement at Rightmove in the UK. Hybrid Working with at least 2 days in the office, London, England.
