Job Summary
Software Engineer for Gamma's AI-powered UCaaS/CCaaS platforms. Develop and maintain AI-driven features and scalable cloud-native services using TypeScript, Node.js, React; build event-driven serverless applications on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions); integrate AI services and foundation models (AWS Bedrock); design REST APIs, write tests with Jest/Playwright, participate in CI/CD, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions. Hybrid work setup in Manchester, UK with office and home working flexibility; focus on improving engineering practices and platform resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience developing frontend applications with React
- Good understanding of API design and distributed systems
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Exposure to AI/LLM technologies, AWS Bedrock, or AI integration patterns is beneficial
