Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and deliver software for tactical decision aids, radar systems, flight software, and physics-based models. Apply agile development fundamentals to accelerate technology timelines for weapon systems engineering and advanced machine learning applications. Manage the transition and deployment of algorithms while prototyping RF/Optical hardware. Requires active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship. Based in Huntsville, AL, this role supports early discovery and high customer engagement across the corporate portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- All levels of experience in software engineering and development including design, development & test
- Experience in various software languages including ADA, C, C++, python, etc.
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
Desired Qualifications
- Battle management software experience
- Experience in ADA
- Experience in numerical methods
- Solid communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into understandable, actionable information for customers
