Job Summary
Software Engineer in Pune responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering high-quality software solutions for payments ecosystem projects. Requires hands-on technologist skills with 3+ years of software development experience, strong Java expertise, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems. Must build responsive UIs using Angular or equivalent frameworks, leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Tanzu), containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and DevOps practices including CI/CD and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Ability to coordinate small project teams, estimate work, and collaborate with global teams while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines. Bachelor's degree in CS or related field (or equivalent experience) and strong communication/leadership skills are required. Travel may be involved; position requires authorization to work in India on a full-time basis. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience
- 3+ years software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems
- Experience with Angular or equivalent front-end frameworks
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Tanzu)
- Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Observability tools
