Job Summary
Software Engineer in Bangalore part of the Core Engineering Team, responsible for understanding requirements, coding, designing and developing high-quality software for the payments ecosystem. You will provide low-level technical designs, estimate stories, participate in code and test-case reviews, attend scrum calls, collaborate with clients and product teams, ensure code quality and test coverage, drive deployments, mentor interns and peers, and continuously learn new areas while adopting technical direction from senior engineers. Technologies practiced include Java, J2EE, JSP, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, CSS, PL/SQL, Kubernetes, DevOps, and Microservices; tools include JUnit, SonarQube, Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Jira; DBs Oracle and MySQL. The role requires 3-6 years of experience and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science
- 3-6 years of total engineering experience
- Technologies and framework experience: Java, J2EE, JSP, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, CSS, PL/SQL, Kubernetes, DevOps, Microservice
- Tools Experience: JUnits, SonarQube, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Jira
- DB experience: Oracle and MySQL
- Good to have knowledge in DevOps, Web application development, and Agile
