Job Summary
Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing requirements, problem definitions, and proposed solutions for C3I&N Directorate software. Develop documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments while designing system specifications and programming standards. Conduct systems analysis to recommend policy and procedure changes, then obtain and license software from vendors through testing and approval. Study system flows and data usage to investigate problem areas, conferring with users to develop solutions that meet business requirements. Plan and implement agile acquisition techniques and DevOps processes for cloud and non-cloud applications. Maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI access and complete related engineering results as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years experience in a software engineering role
- at least 5 years in a DoD environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- In-depth experience with all phases of the software development life cycle
- knowledge of a wide array of software languages
- Experience with software design
- ability to work closely with the end user to verify product will meet business requirements
- ability to work with the network or systems team to ensure proper integration of software applications into the existing infrastructure

- excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- good communications skills
- ability to work professionally with all levels of an organization
- US citizen
- current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI)
- eligibility requirements for access to classified information
