Job Summary
Software Engineer 2 develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems (e.g., analytics, large data processing, real-time systems) for federal government customers. Works individually or as part of a team, reviews and tests components for design conformance, resolves software problem reports, and contributes to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and re-use. Leads software development activities appropriate to the project, designs and implements algorithms, integrates software into new environments, develops data queries, and documents software and system design. Requires TS/SCI clearance with poly and a bachelor's degree in CS or related field, plus extensive SWE experience. Multiple US locations with in-person work on various government projects; benefits include retirement contributions, PTO, and comprehensive healthcare benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
